Adding butter under the skin of your turkey provides extra flavor and moistness to your bird.
|4 oz (113g)||Plugrá® Premium Butter, salted, softened|
|1½ tsp. (4.5g)||minced garlic|
|¼ tsp. (0.25g)||dried oregano|
|1 5-6 pound (2.25 to 2.75kg)||turkey breast, bone-in, skin on|
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Combine butter, garlic, and oregano in small bowl until well mixed; set aside. Dry off the turkey breast and place skin side up into a foil lined 13 x 9-inch pan.
Lift the skin carefully to rub some of the butter onto the turkey breasts. Rub the remaining butter on outside of turkey breasts.
Roast the turkey for 2 hour or until skin is golden brown and thermometer inserted into thickest part of breast reaches 170°F, basting with pan juices after 1 hour. Remove from oven. Spoon some of the pan juices over the breast. Let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
