|unsalted Plugrà butter
Place the saucepan over medium heat. Add butter to the pan.
Brown butter over the heat, continuously mixing so the particles brown evenly. This will take 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat once the butter turns golden brown in color and smells nutty.
Transfer browned butter into a medium metal bowl. Place the metal bowl inside the additional large bowl filled with ice. Whisk the brown butter mixture continuously, for about 2 minutes, until the butter begins to thicken and turn creamy.
When your whipped butter is almost to desired texture, take the metal bowl off the ice and continue to mix until it is completely whipped.
Quickly transfer whipped brown butter into a serving bowl so the butter does not continue to harden. Enjoy as a topping for dinner rolls, roasted vegetables, seared meats, and more!
