The Plugrà® “Thanksgiving Butter” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to permanent legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are physically located and residing therein (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions) and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. (“Sponsor”), any advertising, promotional, or other agencies involved in the creation, development, or administration of the Sweepstakes, and any of its or their direct or indirect parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and/or members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to enter or win.
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. CT on November 7, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on November 10, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Two (2) winners will be selected in a random drawing on November 12, 2025. For all purposes of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor’s computer is the official clock, and all times refer to Central Time (“CT”).
Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes via Instagram only (the “Entry Platform”). Entrants must have a public Instagram account to enter (creating an account is free; visit instagram.com
to download the app and create your account).
To officially enter, during the Sweepstakes Period, comment on Sponsor’s designated giveaway post on Instagram per the instructions (“Tell us your must-have Thanksgiving dish”) and share the post to your Instagram Stories, tagging @PlugraButter (a “Sweepstakes Entry”).
All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. CT on November 10, 2025. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes Entry per person. Entries in excess of the stated limit will be disqualified. Comments made on an entrant’s personal Instagram page or other posts are not eligible. Entrants must have a public profile to be contacted if selected as a potential winner.
Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void. Entries that, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, are inconsistent with Sponsor’s desired image, or that are offensive, obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, contain any proper names or third-party materials, or otherwise infringe any intellectual property right of any person or entity, will not be accepted. Entries must comply with these Official Rules and Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
Two (2) winners will each receive ten (10) pounds of Plugrà® Premium European Style Butter.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $65.00 total.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any reason. All expenses not expressly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winners. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Two (2) potential winners will be randomly selected in a drawing held on November 12, 2025. Each potential winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram using the account associated with their Sweepstakes Entry.
The potential winners must respond within 24 hours of notification. If a potential winner:
(a) is disqualified, found to be ineligible, or not in compliance with these Official Rules;
(b) declines to accept the prize; or
(c) does not respond in time,
the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner selected from the remaining eligible entries, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
This Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes, or the Sweepstakes itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final in all respects. By accepting a prize, the winner attests to the authenticity of their winning Sweepstakes Entry. Where permitted by law, participation and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use the winner’s first name, last initial, address (city and state), photo, likeness, biographical information, statement, and voice for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media (including posting on Sponsor websites), in perpetuity, without further notice to or compensation in connection with said Sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with the Sweepstakes will be subject to prosecution and is thereby ineligible. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes or any portion(s) thereof and conduct the Sweepstakes drawing(s) from among all salvageable eligible Sweepstakes Entries received as of the termination date, if any, in the sole discretion of Sponsor.
The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, tampered with, or non-compliant entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any technical issues, hardware or software failures, or other malfunctions that may occur. The Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or liability in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information; acceptance/possession, use/misuse, and/or defects of the prizes awarded herein; or any damage to any entrant’s or any third person’s computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from this Sweepstakes. By entering, entrants and the prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from and against any and all claims, damages, or liability due to any injuries, damages, or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting or arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity.
Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a federal or state court located in the State of Kansas. All claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees. Entrants waive any rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Kansas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law, rules, or provisions (whether of the State of Kansas or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Kansas. IN NO EVENT SHALL SPONSOR OR THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES BE LIABLE TO ANY ENTRANT OR WINNER FOR DAMAGES THAT EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE TO BE AWARDED TO ANY INDIVIDUAL ENTRANT IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
