Buttery Yam Mousse

Delicious Yam Mousse recipe made with fresh yams, ground cinnamon, rich Plugrá butter, and cream.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium yams, quartered
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mace
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Place water in large pot; bring to boil. Add spices. Stir and add yams.
  2. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until yams are tender but not overcooked.
  3. Drain yams well and place in mixer bowl.
  4. Add butter, nutmeg, and heavy cream.
  5. Mix until smooth and serve.
