  2. In a heavy sauce pan, heat butter on medium heat.

  4. Once you begin to smell a nutty scent, remove butter from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  5. In mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine browned butter and sugar until creamy.
  6. Add eggs, one at a time, until mixed.
  7. Add vanilla and pumpkin and mix to combine.

  9. Gradually mix flour mixture with butter mixture until fully incorporated.
  10. In a small bowl mix 1 tbsp flour with chocolate chips.
  11. Fold chocolate chips into the pumpkin batter.

  13. Pour batter into pan(s) and bake.
  14. For the bundt pan, bake for 45-50 minutes and for the 9 inch baking pans, bake for 22-25 minutes, or until toothpick is inserted and clean when removed.
  15. Remove from the oven and allow cake to cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  16. Then, loosen the edges of the cake with a knife and turn over on a baking sheet to cool completely,
Ganache
