- 1/2 pound butter, unsalted, softened
- 2 shallots, whole, finely diced
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
- Remove butter from bowl and spoon it onto parchment paper.
- Roll into a log, using edge of baking sheet to form a tight log.
- Chill for 2 hours before serving.
