Description

Ingredients

  • Black Berry Filling
  • 4 cups black berries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cobbler Crust Batter
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 stick of chilled butter cut into chunks
  • 1 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a large bowl mix together the berries, brown sugar, sugar, flour and lemon juice and pour into a 9x9 pan.
  3. Next in a separate large bowl mix together all of the cobbler crust batter ingredients until combined.
  4. Using a tablespoon place dollops of batter all over the top of the blackberries to form mini biscuits.
  5. Bake the pan in the oven on 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. To Plate: Serve the cobbler alongside Honey-Lemon Ice Cream.
